Di・Hydro・Myricetin (DHM) is a potent flavonoid extracted from Japanese Raisin Tree (Hovenia dulcis). H.dulcis has traditionally been used as an anti-alcohol herb and hangover cure.

- DHM has been shown to increase the activity of liver enzymes alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) & acetaldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH) - these enzymes metabolize alcohol and its toxic by product acetaldehyde into harmless acetate; this mechanism is the most important for DHMs role in reducing or eliminating the feeling and symptoms of hangovers.
- DHM may also reduce alcohol-induced lipid dysregulation and inflammation, thereby DHM may promote hepatocellular (liver) health, and may assist with fatty liver disorders NAFLD/AFLD.
