Bone Marrow Matrix also contains glycine and proline important amino acids necessary in the production of heme, the part of the blood that carries oxygen. They are also a precursor amino acid for glutathione that's produced naturally by the liver and involved in many processes in the body, including tissue building, wound repair, making chemicals and proteins to strengthen the immune system. They are also involved in glucogenesis (the manufacture of glucose) along with supporting digestion by enhancing gastric acid secretion.
